Client Brief
Old Dairy Cafe & Toilets
Existing toilet facility converted into Old Dairy Cafe which required structural reconfiguration new trusses insulating and cafe fit-out
Old thatched gardeners shed converted to toilet
One of the conditions of the listed building consent was that the original structure remained in its existing state which meant the toilets were to be constructed within the building whilst not touching the original exterior walls so in effect if was a building within a building. Although a challenge we loved that this really gave us the opportunity to show new and old side by side.
Shop
Existing shop to be stripped out and revamped this included refreshing the existing shelving/display units by spraying them which to give them a new lease of life. This was complimented with brand new bespoke joinery and full redecoration. A lot of work was required to the existing floors after the carpets were removed so the decision was made to restore original feature flooring.
This project also included installation of a stairlift, two staircases & feature lighting.
