
The Brief
Project Management & Building Etc was appointed to undertake the demolition of an existing shop extension attached to a historic townhouse and deliver the construction of a new bespoke dwelling in accordance with the architect's design.
The project included the restoration of a long disused original well, which was to become a unique feature within the new home. The client envisioned incorporating a glazed viewing panel within the kitchen area, allowing the well's history to be celebrated as part of the contemporary living space.
Alongside the new build, the scheme included the creation of a dedicated parking area, extensive external landscaping, and the careful integration of modern construction methods with the character of the surrounding property.
